FEB 28, 2009, Santa Barbara, CA-The Pier

For this shot, I turned my body 180 degrees and pointed down. The pier seemed to serve as a dividing line. There were several of these blankets, panhandlers and sleeping homeless people on the opposite side of the pier.

  1. You caught a sad moment in life! I guess at least it is warm there, I always feel so bad here with all of the snow! Great slice of life image!

  3. Good we are learning to REALLY Look all around us, we have to look at what we don't want to see too. Who knows we might come up with an answer - as long as we see it. Hope he/She got enough for a feed and spent it on food. Good Shot

  4. A bleaker side of the beach. Good eye for detail, and good portrayal of something we often don't "see".

  5. Likely it is much warmer than central CA. We have a homeless "problem" as it is called. I think we have more than a homeless problem!
