May 31, 2009 - Unexpected

I thought that I would try to do Tammy's challenge, so I went out to my garden to take pics of flowers for pop art. While I was out there, I got a few shots of this bee. It is a good thing that I got shots of the bee, because my attempt at pop art was a bust.

  1. That was pretty frutuitous. I HATE bees, but that is a fantastic picture.

  2. These colors are so soft. I love the bud when it is such peachy color. Isn't it great to find a bee that will sit still long enough to focus? Your crop of this photo brings the eye to the bee right away.

  4. Stunning, and I can't believe your pop art was a bust - I will have to sneak over to the village to see it! This image was well worth the take - so soft and clear and detailed!
