APR 16, 2009 - California Missions - Old Mission Santa Inez

I went to the Mission in Santa Ynez, yesterday. It is a small Mission. It, evidently, is only open on Sundays, so I didn't get to go inside, but the views from the grounds were beautiful. They look like they will be a good submit for the challenge this week. I'm posting this a little early, because I know I will be busy, tomorrow.

    I like the first one here bettter than the detail shots. It's got all the elements of a landscape I can imagine. Hills, mountains, soil, a tree, little crop sprouts. And the repetitive order of the plowed lines seems to hold it all together.
