As luck would have it, the season is almost over, but we had to buy my son new cleats.
The cleats are black and white and the background was white, but my white balance was a little off, so I converted the photo to b/w and masked to reveal the red lacing.

ReplyDeleteWonderful picture. It just screams baseball. But no dirt or grass on the cleats - did you wash them first?? LOL
ReplyDeleteNice crisp photo!! Fun shot.
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy stopping by your blog because you have such a creative eye and see ordinary things in quite extraordinary ways. Another great shot!
ReplyDeleteI like the simplicity of this and I like that I can at long last visit and comment on your photos, using IE7 I got error messages for weeks. I love the star shots too and hope to see more.
ReplyDeleteIt is a wonderful photo . . . a great composition. I always hated it when my children wore something out right before the end of a sports season.
ReplyDeleteClassic sports photo! Li really like the way you've reduced it to just three colors. It makes the red stitching pop.
ReplyDeleteGreat job on this. Clever to use selective color that way.
ReplyDeleteToo bad I don't live closer to you, I've got a nearly new pair of size 4 cleats I could pass on to you! ;-)
