Good catch by your student! I like the way you used depth of field to further focus on the area of importance in your shot.
I was picking my son up for an appointment today and hanging on the office door was a School Board poster advertising a summer session for middle-school students in which the word 'programs' was printed as 'pograms'. I never understand how printed material with errors like this gets through without editing...
Earlier this year, my daughter got a certificate for her scores on one of the state standardized tests--and then got a NEW one because on of the words was spelled wrong on the original!
My name is Linda. I am a wife, working mom, etc., who has discovered a passion for photography. I am going to try and take and post a picture each day. My goal is to take lots of pictures, enjoy, share, learn and grow as a photographer. I welcome comments and critique.

You have good eyes, I never spot things like this (probably cause I can't spell LOL)
ReplyDeleteGreat catch. You notice how we just read right through things without noticing the spelling.

ReplyDeleteGreat image with great selective focus. I really don't think that they proofread those textbooks at all.
ReplyDeleteOops! I hope he got extra credit for being observant.
ReplyDeleteGood catch and an even better photo!
ReplyDeleteAmazing that they could spell 'utilitarianism' correctly but couldn't quite get 'philosophy' right! ha!
