This is the last shot that I have to share of the pier in Santa Barbara. This was actually the first photo that I took. Notice the people sleeping on the sand. I didn't see them until I was processing the photo. That is very sad to me. They shouldn't be unnoticed.

This is an amazing photo! Such two contrasts of life; one pointed and one sadly overlooked.
ReplyDeleteThat's an amazing sand sculpture!
ReplyDeleteThis photo is so full of life. The artist with the creative sculpture, the people sleeping on the beach, the family walking on the path that winds into the horizon. Very nice!
ReplyDeleteOh my GOSH!!! I was looking over people's 365 pictures and I have this one!!! Check it out! http://xtraspecialphotos.blogspot.com/2009/02/53365-sandy.html
ReplyDeleteYeah, I couldn't get over how this guy could be homeless and yet so talented. He should probably being doing more permanent sculptures and selling them. Very talented.
Fascinating slice of different lives. You're right, they shouldn't be overlooked...
ReplyDelete(What a coincidence that Karen saw this sand sculpture on another 365 blog!)
