August 2, 2009 - Name That Beach

I tend usually to crop with the horizon in the top or bottom 3rd, but I liked the rocks, so I left it alone.
This is an even more isolated part of the beach. It looked like the water comes up pretty dangerously high during high tide. I didn't want to test it.

  1. I like the rocks too. I think you made the right call in not cropping it. The horizon is in the right place.

  3. This is looking more and more like the beach at Newport Coast...but your first photo doesn't fit my memory of that place. I'm so curious!! :-D

  7. The perfect framing in my opinion, just so inviting- at this tide level anyway.
